How tall is Wes Welker?

He's listed as 5'9, but in a video (YouTube video "Dunkin Donuts with Dustin Pedoria and Wes Welker" toward the end of the video they stand side by side, sorry couldn't find the link). He looks almost the same size as Dustin Pedoria who listed himself as 5'5. Is that the big fuss of him being short? Because I'm his listed height and haven't been called short.

Dustin Pedroia is 5-9, so Welker is at least 5-8
BTW football cleats make you look 2 inches taller not to mention the huge helmets make their heads bigger so on game day in uniform he measures 6 foot
