In the 2010 NFL Draft, what can make the San Diego Chargers a Super Bowl Team? I am a Charger fan, but i honestly dont feel im getting ahead of myself when i say that San Diego only has 2 areas or players away from being a "scary", or legitimate Super Bowl calibur team.. Research is showing that their looking at: 1.) Terrence Cody - 6' -5" 360 lb NT from Alabama (Albert Haynesworth type that moves piles & will be J.Williams' successor) 2.) Jahvid Best RB from Cal - The Next starter w/ Sproles as backup 3.) Earl Thomas FS from Texas (Definitely a scarier S than our starter Kevin Ellison & gives San Diego that Agressive look in the Secondaryn w/ Weddle on the opposite side.) 4.) Jerry Hughes DE from TCU- a DE with Speed/Power - San Diego's defensive line was weak last year - only pass rush they had, came from LB's & Safeties. The obvious decision would be drafting Jahvid Best, the future RB that will give San Diego the Running Attack they've been missing, but he's most likely to be drafted before the Chargers can get to him. If he's off the board when the Chargers are on the clock, what do you think they should do?

I have the Chargers taking Penn State DT Jared Odrick to play DE opposite Luis Castillo. Dan Williams would be a good fit but I'd be shocked if he's around for the Charger's pick. Sure Terrance Cody is 360, but he's a soft 360, and not anywhere near as explosive or powerful as Haynesworth (who btw isn't even a true 3-4 nose tackle). I think that Cody will be a solid space eating NT, but far from an impact player unless he's able to get his act together and turn that fat into muscle. Jahvid Best is a possibility, but he won't be the difference between the Chargers winning it all and falling sport. I like Earl Thomas, and Jerry Hughes would be a great replacement for Shawne Merriman.

What ya gonna do with LT man, throw him in the trash? You ever consider that the players might not be the problem with the Chargers? Don't you think other players are looking at the Chargers and making note of how LT is being treated?
